22-23 April 2023 at Anderson Pond
*Youth participants DO NOT need Eglin or State Permits*

This event is sponsored by Jackson Guard, U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, and Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission.  The Eglin Reservation Fishing Rodeo is a special opportunity event allowing youth (15 years of age and under) to fish for stocked channel catfish at Anderson Pond.

There are three time slots at 7:30 A.M. - 10:30 A.M., 11:30 A.M. - 2:30 P.M., and  3:30 P.M. - 6:30 P.M. on both Saturday and Sunday.  Each time slot has room for 25 youth participants and one accompanying adult.  NOTE:  Due to covid-19 protocols we are requesting just one (1) supervising adult per youth in order to stay within the allotted number of participants at any given time.

If you wish to participate in the event, choose a time slot from the three options above and call the Natural Resources Office at (850) 882-4165 or 4166 to reserve a slot.  NOTE:  We do not begin taking reservations for this event until 11 April 2022.
