Special Opportunity Fishing - Fishing Rodeo
April 22-23, 2017

This year represents the 10th anniversary of this event sponsored by Jackson Guard, U.S Fish & Wildlife Service, and Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.  The Eglin Reservation Fishing Rodeo is a special opportunity event allowing youth (15 years of age and under) to fish in a freshly stocked pond.  

There are three time slots (7-10 a.m.; 12-3 p.m.; 4:30-7:30 p.m.) on Saturday and three on Sunday.  Each time slot has room for 50 participants.  

If you wish to participate in the event, choose a time slot (7-10 a.m.; 12-3 p.m.; 4:30-7:30 p.m.) and call the Natural Resources Office at (850) 882-4165 or 4166 between Apr 11-22 to reserve a slot.

Anderson Pond is located three miles north
of Niceville on the east side of Hwy 85.
